Wildflower hike on Pollock Bench Trail

April 27 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

This hike has some great views and the wildflowers should be about at their peak! GJHikes calls it “moderate” in difficulty. The full round-trip distance is about 7 1/2 miles. We usually turn around earlier, whenever the group decides to. This will be a leisurely hike with stopping to see flowers and views. Kids are welcome! More info in GJHikes: https://www.gjhikes.com/2009/09/pollock-bench.html#more
Meet at Dinosaur Journey Museum parking lot to carpool to the trailhead, since there is very limited parking at the trailhead. There is a restroom at the trailhead. Bring water, sunscreen, camera, layers, etc.

Please leave dogs at home, since even well behaved dogs don’t mix well with a larger group

We may have two groups for this hike: We can have a group that may want to go the full 7 miles and another group that wants to go a shorter distance and take it more leisurely. We can sort ourselves into these groups at the start. This way we are hoping that more people will enjoy the hikes and feel comfortable no matter how fast or slow people want to go! **We are looking for a co-host for this hike in case we split into two groups if anyone is interested in helping out. If so, put a comment here!**
