Jefferson Humanists hosts photographer and activist Jonathan Moller at our March monthly meeting. He will talk about his human rights work in Guatemala during a slideshow of his photographs and in-depth presentation

Jonathan is the author of two books on Guatemala, a book about Peru, a book about the diversity of young Cubans today, a book about Black Lives Matter in 2020, and his most recent book, *In Transit: In the Company of Strangers*, published in 2024. He travels the US and internationally speaking at universities, libraries, and museums to share his work in human rights and the stories told in his photographs and books. Meeting attendees will have a chance to explore Jonathan’s books on Guatemala, Peru, Cuba, and Black Lives Matter before the presentation. Books will be available for purchase and author signing. All proceeds will benefit peace and justice nonprofits in Guatemala. SCHEDULE
We will serve snacks and refreshments from 4:00 to 4:30, with a chance to meet our speaker, then start the program. A small donation of $3 is suggested for the wine or beer. The program will include announcements and a Humanist Moment before the presentation begins.
