Yes, the Boulder Atheists adopted a section of Baseline Road at US 36 many years ago and this sign has always been there.
Three or four times a year we get together for a couple hours to pick up trash and then walk to lunch nearby.
It is a great community service program that the BA is very proud of, and it’s a fun social event. Trash grabbers, bags, and disposable gloves provided. You might want to bring your own gloves. We’ll meet in the parking lot south of Dark Horse (the lot backs up to Hwy 36). Since this is a weather contingent activity, please monitor your notifications for possible cancellation due to bad weather.
You are welcome to stay afterwards and enjoy lunch with others at one of the nearby restaurants.
