Join us each month on second Wednesdays for a leisurely walk or hike at your own pace, followed by nourishment and conversation. Conversation may be whatever comes to mind, or a topic related to Humanism and nature. For inspiration, visit https://jeffersonhumanists.org/ or https://americanhumanist.org/what-is-humanism/definition-of-humanism/.
Our June event will be an exploration of Denver’s delightful Botanic Gardens in Capitol Hill neighborhood, just off 6th Avenue. We’ll start with a special exhibition at the Gardens gallery: *Blue Grass, Green Skies: American Impressionism and Realism* from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Then plan on about an hour in early summer landscapes from Japanese gardens to our high country steppes. Afterward, we’ll seek nourishment at one of the cafes in the Gardens.
MEETING LOCATION: Outside the Gardens at the York Street main entrance. You will need to purchase tickets online or at the counter before entering the Gardens. Parking is across the street. https://www.botanicgardens.org/york-street
