This month, we invite you to read “The Amazon Pierced by Her Own Arrow” by Culley Jane Carson and “Marginalia” by Mary Robinette Kowal.
**The Amazon Pierced by Her Own Arrow**
The story is about Tina Kimura, a high school teacher and graphic novelist in Hawaii, who becomes intertwined with her superhero creation, Amazon, as she navigates a surreal encounter with a man named Josh and his mysterious problem involving a woman named Dara.
**Marginalia**
“Marginalia” tells the story of Margery and her brother Hugh as they confront a monstrous snail threatening their village. Margery’s bravery is tested when she must protect her brother and lure the creature away, leading to surprising opportunities for Hugh.
You can find an audio version of “Bonus Footage” at
You can find a copy of “Marginalia” online at [https://www.uncannymagazine.com/article/marginalia/](https://www.uncannymagazine.com/article/marginalia/)
